Sunday we embarked on a new and different journey together- exploring the character and attributes of God. We're reading along together in Mark Buchanan's book, The Holy Wild, and each week diving into a different part of who God is. This week we started by looking at His Goodness. It should have been an easy week. Instead, we wrestled in a real way with the times God doesn't appear so good. I know it wasn't easy watching that video; it wasn't that easy talking about it either. But I pray you left Sunday thinking you wrestled with God's goodness in a new, different and real way.

I found the "99 balloons" video on You Tube and sent it to about 50 of my favorite email buddies. The responses were amazing! Thank you! St. Peter is so blessed! Sometimes it is hard to 'feel' blessed with all the stuff that goes on in our lives and our world daily. As you said, God's goodness is sometimes hard to understand. Thank for sharing this eye watering message with us. It is a feeling inside of us that brings us into aliveness - the aliveness God wants for us. Thank you Brian & Beth and Bo & April for saying Yes! to us when we made a call that was far more desperate than initially realized. Then coming here, demonstrating faith and trust as you have moved into the unfamiliar and made it your home. You are all such a blessing to us and our families! It is a joy to observe you as your families grow, too!
